S. K. Harris is a UK-based author writing adult fantasy romance and speculative fiction. His work is interested in power, memory, cultural inheritance, buried histories, and the emotional cost of survival.
Before turning his focus fully to fiction, he studied and worked in archaeology, an influence that continues to shape his approach to story: layered worlds, traces of what came before, and the tension between what is preserved and what is lost. He is also deeply interested in history, place, and the ways private longing collides with larger political and social forces.
His fiction is written for an adult audience and explores darker themes while remaining grounded in character, atmosphere, and emotional truth. He is particularly drawn to stories in which intimacy develops under pressure, trust is hard won, and love must survive systems designed to constrain it.
He is currently working on The Ashbound Dream Trilogy, beginning with The Fracture Beneath the Ash.
