The Ashbound Dream Trilogy

Series introduction

The Ashbound Dream Trilogy is an adult fantasy romance series set in a city shaped by imperial control, old power, and dangerous inheritance. At its heart is a story of binding, resistance, buried forces, and a relationship that deepens under scrutiny, risk, and impossible choice.

Dark in atmosphere and intimate in emotional scale, the trilogy explores power and possession, freedom and obligation, and the ways desire can become both refuge and threat.

Book One

The Fracture Beneath the Ash

Erysane Serelith is a gifted dreamworker whose body, labour, and magic are controlled by an imperial contract. Watched closely and used for work she is never permitted fully to understand, she survives through discipline, silence, and careful restraint.

Sorien Calder is a blacksmith whose skill with metal comes from instincts he cannot entirely explain. When his work begins to intersect with strange disturbances beneath the city, he is drawn into a world of guarded knowledge, political danger, and forces older than the empire itself.

As fractures begin to spread through the dreamways under Aserith, Erysane and Sorien are forced into dangerous proximity. Their growing connection offers both solace and risk, but in a system built on ownership, control, and fear, intimacy itself becomes an act with consequences.
